Seven years ago Harry Mason and his wife went on vacation to Silent Hill. On the way home they found the baby on the roadside and adopt it by the name Cheryl. But then his wife died of illness and stay with Cheryl Harry who he loved like a son.
Harry then took Cheryl to Silent Hill, the city where he and his wife used to spend holidays together. But before they got there, strange things begin to emerge. A motorized police preceded them but a few moments later they saw the motorcycle cop was lying on the roadside without a rider. Shortly after that suddenly a girl appeared half way through and make Harry's surprise. Harry tried not to hit the girl but instead his own car skidded off the road and crashed into something that made him faint. When he woke up, Cheryl was not in his car. When he came out of the car he realized that there was something strange. Beautiful city that used to be a favorite spot that has now turned into a foggy and quiet. He started looking for Cheryl in the city that seems uninhabited and began to realize that something terrible will happen.
