What is Software

Software is a system that connects a computer (Hardware) with the user (users) in order to create a system that can function according to user wishes. Operating System is the basis on which the Software System, Software to operate within a computer or other electronics. Currently almost all GUI operating system adheres to the function (Grapical User Interfance), which can facilitate users to operate a computer. Examples of GUI functionality is Pointing device with the device in the form of a mouse. GUI first introduced by Windows in 1990. With its products under the name of Windows 95 and continued with Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows ME.Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. 
Windows offers a Plug n play.di function where users can install / Uninstall hardware with ease. Word processing Word processing Software Software is a software that allows users to make a paper with some functions such as changing fonts, colors, dll.User also given the ease of making a paper with facilities Spell Checking, Online dictionary and also some pictures available to be inserted in his writings. Spreadsheet Software Spreadsheet Software is a software that allows users to create jobs related to tables and databases such as accounting, statistics, etc.. The program allows users to enter data with easy, such as formulas, formulas that have been provided by the software. 
Software Examples of popular spreadsheet today is Microsoft EXCEL. Presentation Software Presentation Software is a sofwre which facilitate users in making Slide - Slide presentation. The software allows users using facilities such as the insertion of images, background, effects-transition-effect, animation. Users also can present the slides directly from the computer by using a projector.

Freeware is free software that refers to the users' freedom to run, copy, distribute, study, change and improve the software. A program is free software if users have all of these freedoms. Thus, we should be free to redistribute copies, either with or without modification (changes), either gratis or charging a fee for distribution, to anyone anywhere. The freedom to do all the above means we do not have to ask or pay for permission. 

Shareware Shareware is software that limit their users by reducing certain features or restrict the use for a certain period or also incorporating both of these things. The purpose of the publication of shareware is to share the functions and benefits of the software to consumers so that consumers could be the opportunity to try the software directly to then decide not to use the software or buy the full version.
